We sometimes share excellent service and outstanding people here.. but what about the worst? Share your worst experience and maybe tag the company involved, and who knows.. negative publicity can have quite a shift in inaction? Here’s mine, in a nutshell. WestJet offloaded a bag of mine without telling me in June 2022, and was told on landing it was on the flight right behind. It wasn’t. It was an untruth as ground staff apparently couldn’t see where baggage was until it landed. I eventually got it back in the UK, 4 days later, damaged, and contents ‘removed’. Complaint raised with a claim,and it took 5 months to settle claim. But even now, almost 2 years on, the complaint case remains unanswered with online services refusing to deal with or pass on requests for action. Reached a point last month I researched Board member’s names and email addresses and mailed 3 of them. No reply from them but emailed passed to Baggage Services (not Customer Relations?). They responded advising claim was settled so what more do I want? Literally; their words!!! I had to re-cover what was in the email and repeat the outstanding issues… guess what… more silence despite further chasers. Two of their corporate values: “Care from the heart”, and “Act like an owner”. Evidence of either is severely lacking #notlivingtheirvalues #customernotfirst #lackofcare Can you share a worse experience?
