🔍 CREP Awarded Grant to Improve Inmate Higher Education We are proud to share that our Center for Research in Educational Policy (CREP) has been granted a two-year award to assess higher education initiatives for inmates in Tennessee. This project, in partnership with the Tennessee Higher Education Initiative (THEI), focuses on evaluating financial literacy and support resources across seven TN Prison Education Programs (PEPs). With the recent reintroduction of Pell grants, this initiative aims to improve access to education, help students make informed decisions, and ultimately reduce recidivism by enhancing educational opportunities for those affected.
