DID YOU KNOW.... Willem Einthoven, a Dutch medical doctor invented the first practical electrocardiograph (#ECG or #EKG) in 1895 and received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or #medicine in 1924 for it. It wad a landmark step in #cardiology But, Unfortunately, there was no #google then to inform people that an #ecg IS NOT ALWAYS ABNORMAL IN EVERY #patient OF #heartdisease . IN FACT, IT IS #normal IN THE VAST MAJORITY of #patients including in many patients with #blocked #heart #arteries called #coronaryarteries and sometimes maybe normal even upto 24hrs even after a #heartattack ! WE ALL KNOW, IN MEDICINE 2 PLUS 2 IS NOT ALWAYS FOUR. IT MAY BE A ONE ! LET THE EXPERTS INTERPRET THESE TESTS.
