You can cover the essentials in 15 minutes and be ready to roll ASAP. It makes me wonder if there's room in the market for consulting in-house teams on how to work with freelancers.

Effective communication and clear expectations are crucial for building successful freelancer-client relationships. Here are some tips: → Clients: Be upfront about your project scope, budget, and timeline. → Freelancers: Showcase your skills and experience with a strong portfolio. Both:     → Communicate clearly and regularly.     → Be transparent about expectations and limitations. →Focus on building trust and a positive working relationship. By working together, we can bridge the gap and create a win-win situation for everyone! What are your biggest challenges in finding the perfect freelancer/client?

I want to gather some quick responses from my fellow freelancers. Suppose a prospective client loves your pitch and indicates their intent to work together. They're offering an ongoing retainer that guarantees monthly work for up to a year, and maybe even longer. The caveat is that the retainer rate is a little lower than what you originally pitched. Do you still accept the terms and initiate the contract? Love to get some comments and spark a discussion around this topic. I think it can help many freelancers who may find themselves in this situation.
