the map below represents flows of clients to fitness clubs. It was a part of location analysis that I have done with agent-based model and spatial interaction model. The goal was to build a system, that would reflect how fitness clients behave (which club they choose, how far they can go for fitness etc.) and what is important for them in their choice of club (number of fitness classes, size of a club etc.). You can imagine that you have a computer model that reflects this world, but WHY? In the moment you got this model, you can ask WHAT IF we build new club in location XY, HOW many clients can this new club attract, what revenue can we get.
