🎅🎄🎁 WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR OUR CHRISTMAS PRESENT FUNDRAISER 🎅🎄🎁 For 2024 we have made the pledge as a team to support two children's charities and hospices - The Acorns Children's Hospice and Zoe's Place Baby Hospice Coventry. Many of the team here have families and we are all well aware of the complications that can sometimes arise with children and the urgent medical attention they require, even more so when it's life changing or critical care is needed. To kickstart our pledge we are going to do something extra special this Christmas to bring some love and smiles to these children and families who cannot spend the festive period at home. Our efforts and focus over the next few weeks is to raise £3000 to buy presents for the two hospices to ensure a little joy is spread. I wonder how many of you reading this can really answer the questions: 'What is Hospice Care?' and 'How do Hospice Isle of Man make the difference to those who need their services?' (And whilst we're on that subject... 'Who can use the services offered by Hospice Isle of Man?') This article is a great intro to the world of hospice care and the struggles faced by Hospice Isle of Man, along with many other charities across the Island, when looking at sustainability for the future. Educating yourself about the positive impact Hospice Isle of Man has on the Island's community (and perhaps challenging some of your initial thoughts!) is so important for your (and your loved one's) future. I can hand on heart say I had only scratched the surface with my understanding of its purpose but feel so much more comfortable should a loved one need their services in the future (and will be well equipped to advise on how to make the most of what is available!). Get yourself a brew and have a read... you've a lot more to gain than lose 💗

Performance Leader's Feedback for Good program sees us donate up to 2.5% of our software licence fees back to three charities nominated by the client. It's really simple idea: every time someone provides real-time feedback to a colleague using our fast feedback platform, they get to drop a virtual token into one of three charity buckets. At the end of the year, we donate to the three charities, in proportion to the allocated tokens. (A bit like buying a burger at Grill'd or shopping at Waitrose, except our clients choose their charities). Qualified Charitable Distributions Year-End Planning Tip: Don't forget that individuals aged 70 or older can transfer up to $100,000 to charity tax-free each year. These transfers, known as qualified charitable distributions (QCDs), allow eligible older Americans to easily donate to charity before the end of the year. QCDs also count toward the required minimum distribution (RMD) for individuals aged 73 or older.
