Who Are New Americans? A New American is defined by law as a Coloradan who has arrived, and a person who will arrive, to Colorado as an immigrant or refugee, and includes their children. New Americans are Coloradans! They are children, parents, teachers, students, patients, doctors, contractors, homeowners, entrepreneurs, family members, friends, coworkers, and neighbors. Anthony Cherwinski, the new ONA global talent administrator, is working on employment integration. One tool is a three-part webinar series entitled “Working with new Americans from Recruiting to Upskilling”. Serial Entrepreneur, Advocate and Chairwoman | Women's Leadership Board @ Harvard Kennedy School | Top 100 most influential women in UK Tech
I have spent the past decade of my career collaborating with wonderful colleagues and partners developing tools for employers to crate pay equity and fair pay via Gapsquare. 🚀 Now, it's time to take things to the next level! I am dedicating the next stage of my career to developing innovative approaches and empowering employees to shape a fairer future of work in the age of automation. 🤖💼 A recent survey we conducted in the UK revealed that: 📈 40% of respondents feel they lack opportunities for growth and advancement at work. 💸 36% believe their pay is likely unfair. 🌱 Nearly 1/4 say their current career doesn't match their values and dreams. This is why I am thrilled to launch WorkVue – more than just a company, but a movement. Our goal is to offer a view on work trends, pay, and skills, enabling careers to align with dreams and aspirations and collectively shape a more equitable world of work. 🌍💡 And there's more! Before we dive into pulling insights and developing tools, we want to ensure the voice of the future generation of workers is heard loud and clear. 🗣️👂 This is why we are setting up the Future of Work Youth Advisory Council – a unique platform for young people to influence the work landscape, making it fairer for everyone. If you know passionate individuals aged between 18 and 29 who are eager to influence the future of work, please encourage them to apply ➡️ https://workvue.io/join-us #WorkVue #FutureOfWork #YouthAdvisoryCouncil #FairWork #Innovation #CareerDreams
