The team provided outstanding education and engagement in diversity and inclusion to ensure a safe, transparent, and equitable work environment which extends to partners and the public! 🏆 Outstanding Team Award EPA Region 3's Community Involvement Branch demonstrated proactive and effective communication strategies during the early stages of the East Palestine, Ohio train derailment by establishing a real-time information line. This initiative facilitated crucial updates and data collection from both the public and first responders, fostering vital communication between all stakeholders involved. 🏆 Outstanding Mentor/Coach Eric Newman, a Remedial Project Manager in the Superfund Program, was recognized for his outstanding commitment to mentoring and coaching newer RPMs in the Site Remediation Branch.
