We are thrilled to share the third installment of our enlightening video series presented by Safe New Futures. In this powerful video, Nina Kelly, CEO of Safe New Futures and a former worker in an international human rights organisation, shares her impactful experiences and the profound connections she fostered with falsely accused male prisoners in Mexico. In her narrative, Nina recounts her time advocating for these individuals, delivering a message of hope and solidarity: "You are not alone, we won’t forget you." This phrase not only offered a lifeline to those ensnared within an unforgiving justice system but also echoed a personal resonance with Nina, who faced her own struggles with loneliness following a family tragedy in her youth. This episode not only highlights the significance of human connection and support in overcoming the barriers of isolation but also invites viewers to consider the parallels between societal and personal loneliness. Through her story, Nina emphasises the importance of solidarity and community in providing a sense of belonging and support to those who feel forgotten by the world. Join us in watching this compelling video, share it with your networks, and engage in the conversation about the critical role of community and empathy in addressing loneliness. #Solidarity #CommunitySupport #VideoSeries #SafeNewFutures #Loneliness #WhitePaper

In times of uncertainty, it’s important to remain diligent to the pursuit of #innovativesolutions and #partnerships that empower and protect those most vulnerable to violence, especially in the communities where we live. We recently sat down with Carmen Pitre and Cherie Swenson of Sojourner to discuss that… and why right now is not the time to give up, but to #leanin. And keep going. #HumanSecurityforAll #NexionSolutions
Our partnership with Sojourner goes beyond providing solutions that protect those in #Milwaukee who are survivors of #violence. Together, we take a look at how policy changes happening today at the federal and Wisconsin state level impact not-for-profits during times of economic uncertainty, including an organization's ability to continue to provide services to those most vulnerable. Listen to our latest podcasts now as our CEO and Founder Liz Kohler discusses with Carmen Pitre and Cherie Swenson. #humansecurityforall
