I want to express my sincere gratitude to our Baltimore campus for sharing earlier this month. It was truly touching to see the front page featuring two important issues that I am passionate about helping: single moms and human trafficking victims. I consider myself an ambassador for both causes, serving on the board for Jeremiah Program under the leadership of our CEO Chastity Lord and redM Join The Movement Austin chapter with founder David Reid , along with Wilma Carolina , Pradeep Ashok,Jason Duff, Robin Macmillan,Missie Hills, PE, MBA , and many others. Despite their differences, both stories resonate with me as narratives of overcoming adversity and embodying hope. They both reflect the experiences of survivors and the importance of giving them a voice. Van Vo thanks for highlighting these 2 feature stories in the Baltimore Sun. It’s unfortunate that our current news sources highlight the problem of poverty without getting at the root causes. Kudos to the Sun for putting the Jeremiah Project front and center in Baltimore.
