Last month, on April 25, I had the joy of joining my Groundswell, Inc. colleagues Rashad Williams, MPP and Tanjila Sharif at the Salesforce World Tour NY event to celebrate being selected to join the Salesforce AI for Impact Accelerator (please take the time to click through the link to read about what it is and how it works - you'll be glad you did). We got to spend a joyful morning with Esther Nai and Sharon Talbott sharing and learning and talking about how we'll be approaching putting AI to work in our SharePower platform. That morning, Groundswell was recognized in Salesforce co-founder Parker Harris' keynote presentation, which was thrilling, and which was also the absolute best explanation of what AI is, how it can be used to support your mission, and what steps every organization needs to take to implement AI effectively and ethically. And by best, I don't just mean in comparison to the hype-fest expositions I'm sure we've all heard. I mean, this presentation was EXCEPTIONAL. I wish I had a link to the presentation and the slides to share with you all here (maybe Sharon or Esther can share?). In addition to the clarity and conciseness of the presentation, which was illustrated with specific examples, Salesforce's corporate values were apparent in how they are offering AI and recommending its use to others.
