My second ever Interview to become a Recruitment Consultant, I was asked "sum-up in a few words what Recruitment Consultant do" and my reply was "build magic bridges to peoples dream jobs". The guy who interviewed me laughed and later offered me a job. (PS this isn't one of those stories where the dog got the job) Why am I mentioning this. Well at the time I said it a little light heartedly, but I never actually realised at the time what a great recruiter can do for their candidates. I speak to many people who aren't happy at work and people yet to get the careers they are truly after.
