From time to time it's good to take a critical look at everyday places and how they are designed. They tend to be shaped by the culture and time in which they are built, sometimes including the shortcomings or otherwise outdated ideas of that time. A theater, for example, often follows similar design principles, but are the spaces really accessible to everyone? As I perceive it, many have been designed with a dash of white normativity and internalized ableism.
