Oh, the places you'll go! 💃 Make sure one of those places is #ConferenceCon? Too many online events and conferences are self serving. So Pitchfire is putting on an online event that's for the attendees. No keynotes about the future of technology that we're making. No slides filled with stats from a Gartner survey from 2019. No drawn-out sessions about a new technique you're probably not going to implement. No 45-minute sales pitches disguised as a free learning session. A real bummer with most industry-focused conferences is they require certain levels of sponsorship to secure a speaking slot. Attendees pay good money to hear from “experts.” If you have to pay $10k - $25k+ to secure a speaking slot, why wouldn’t you design a deck to soft pitch attendees? This is true in Home Services, Legal, Healthcare, and Franchise focused conferences. Real big bummer, Amanda J. brings 🔥 backed with actual data.
