The importance of a community. You know how strengthening it is to share experience with others that have made the same journey as you. Today and tomorrow, I participate at Nexus 2023 hosted at Merck in Frankfurt, a Revvity conference, to do just that. I am really enjoying seeing and sharing all the incredible things possible with the Signal Suite. One thing that we do differently that many at the conference has been interested in is that we use iPads with TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) covers in the lab. These covers can be washed with alcohol and can handle many types of detergents. And if worse comes to worse, it's much cheaper to replace a cover for € 50 than replacing an iPad. Using iPads in the lab, with the Electronic Lab Notebook, using a touch screen that can be used with gloves, pen, or voice recognition is a really good way of digitalising and streamlining the lab experience.
