Latest Foods and Drinks Offers by Latest Business Offers. Title: Buy Rioja Wines Online | Great Wines Direct Link: https://lnkd.in/e5ddTwWu Rioja Wines Rioja, which has denominación de origen calificada (D.O.Ca., "Qualified Designation of Origin," the top classification in Spanish wine legislation), is a wine area in Spain. Grapes from the autonomous entities of La Rioja, Navarre, and the Basque province of lava are used to make Rioja wine. The three zones of Rioja are Rioja Alta, Rioja Oriental, and Rioja Alavesa. Traditionally, many wines have included grapes from all three zones, while single-zone wines are slowly becoming more popular. Since its founding in 1925, the D.O.Ca. Rioja Regulating Council has authorised seven traditional varietals, four red and three white: Tempranillo, Garnacha tinta, Mazuelo (sometimes called Cariena), and Graciano are the red varietals. #rojawines #wines #greatwines #qualitywines #winestore #drinks #foodanddrinks #food

Here at Wine in Moderation, we are thrilled to witness the resurgence of traditional winemaking practices in our modern world, as it's a testament to the rich cultural heritage of wine that is vital to preserve in our industry. This interesting article highlights the growing trend of amphora and other clay vessel wines, which have seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to the rediscovery of ancient Georgian winemaking traditions. Producers in northeastern Italy have drawn inspiration from these age-old methods, further solidifying the strong connection between clay vessels and low-intervention, skin-fermented white wines. What's more, the natural wine movement has fully embraced amphora wines, propelling their popularity across various social media platforms. It's an exciting time for the world of wine, and we are eager to see how these traditions continue to evolve and thrive in our modern age. What are your thoughts on these kind of cultural trends? 🍷 This year’s edition of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB) took place between the 7th and 9th of June, in Guanajuato, Mexico. Experts from the international wine sector tasted 7,500 white and red wines from 42 countries. Of the 846 Portuguese wines registered, 299 received a medal, representing more than 35% of total registrations, highlighting the quality of the Portuguese wines 🏅 According to Maria João de Almeida “Buyers, journalists, wine traders, oenologists, among other experts represent 45 nationalities and blindly taste the wines entered in the competition. The only information they receive about the wine is its harvest year. Of all the wines entered, only 30% take home a medal.” Founded in 1994, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB) is acknowledged as a world reference for wine competitions. Its independence, stringent standards and tasting procedures offer reassurance for consumers, enabling them to buy medal-winning wines with complete confidence. “From our Observatory on the Italian wine export, I am receiving 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 for the second half of 2024 but also for 2025”. This is the comment of Edoardo Freddi International, the Italian leading export management company in the wine sector. “In particular, despite the setback in the last 12 months – continues Edoardo Freddi – I see on the horizon in the next 18 months a 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, which will once again be purchased by enthusiasts and foreign wine lovers, starting with the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬, the most important market for this type of bottle. This trend also involves Asia (we recorded an impetuous growth in exports +20% in 2023) and, in particular, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚, where people continue to purchase our quality Italian wines, starting from Amarone, Brunello and Barolo (for reds) and from Lugana, Trebbiano and Pinot Grigio/Bianco (for whites)”. “After the brief but physiological setback in 2023 which however follows many years of continuous growth, starting from the 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 our fine red wines will continue to make the history of Italian winemaking.”, continues Freddi. “To represent a unique experience for connoisseurs and enthusiasts, our wineries will have to listen more and more to 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬, without distorting their history and their terroirs. The result will be wines that are perhaps 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 ‘𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫’ than in the past but decidedly 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, because GenZ (who will be the consumers of the future) are very attentive to these aspects”. #wine #cronachedigusto #article #winemarket #winetrend #redwines #usa #asia #edoardofreddi #edoardofreddiinternational

Rose #wine is a recognized category, but if we look back in time, it hasn't always been the case. This is mainly due to a shift in perception of rosé. Traditionally, it was associated with lower quality and less complexity compared to red or white wines. However, in recent years, this has changed both among #consumers and distributors, making it a sophisticated and versatile choice. In #Spain, specifically, consumption has increased by 15% in recent years. Undoubtedly, this is due to the success of rosés internationally, such as in the United States, the United Kingdom, or France, where it is one of the most popular options. #MiradaOrganicRosé became the best rosé wine by VINOFED last year. It is a 100% Bobal, where the winemaking team has worked to develop a high-quality wine; this variety gives it unique characteristics. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy the #best rosé from Spain – it will surely surprise you! We await you at our stand Hall P8-L0 STAND A-50 at Barcelona Wine Week. #winebusiness #innovation

Langtons Classification of Australian Wine: Eighth edition is “a dramatic shake-up” // The latest edition of Australia's answer to the 1855 Classification has had an infusion of new, cooler blood. Australian fine-wine auction house and merchant Langtons has unveiled the latest, eighth edition of the Langtons Classification of Australian Wine, with the company describing the 100-strong selection of Australia’s most in-demand fine wines as “the most dramatic shake-up” of the influential list since its first edition in 1990. The new list, which comprises wines that have been released for at least ten vintages and which “have a strong track record in the secondary market,” has been simplified, with the three tiers of the previous edition (published in 2018) replaced by two: all 100 wines are now “Classified” with a top tier of 19 wines given the title “First Classified”—a nod to the first growths of the 1855 Bordeaux Classification which has always been the inspiration for the Langtons Classification.
