The Beipanjiang Bridge, located in China, is one of the highest bridges in the world, with a deck height of approximately 565 meters (1,854 feet) above the river, making it the highest bridge in terms of distance from the deck to the ground below. The total length of the bridge is about 1,341 meters (4,400 feet). The bridge was completed and opened to traffic in December 2016. The bridge spans the Beipan River in the mountainous province of Guizhou, connecting the cities of Liupanshui in Guizhou and Xuanwei in Yunnan.
