Our approach to business leadership has changed drastically over the years - and most would argue for the better! The top-down management style that governed business owners' and c-levels (arguably since the onset of the industrial era) has evolved in the 21st century to a more inclusive, more engaging, and more servant approach to business leadership. Many factors have contributed to our modern leadership dynamic including advanced technologies and a increased interest in community and people. With all the innovation that has taken place since the 1970s, the most profound changes have arguably been in how business owners lead their companies and their people. Fascinating! Inside Look 👀 Our next gen leadership team. One of the challenges in professional service firms is succession planning. With our senior directors, Terry Netto and Marianne Vincent, turning 60 recently (very recently, mind you), there was an urgent need to put the next generation leaders in place. We are happy to announce that in early January, three of our managers were promoted to the leadership team, Charlene Nicholas, Lee Choong Yin, and Dr. Kavitha Murulitharan. • Charlene takes over Business Operations from Mel (our CEO) • Choong Yin takes over Leadership Development from Terry (who remains Director of Organisation Development & Strategy) • Kavitha takes over Business Presentations from Marianne Vincent (who remains Director of Training Quality). As you can tell, there was a bit of double-hatting happening earlier. All three of these new leaders, together with Joshua Ng, are still in their 30s, while Mel is just a shade beyond, so it does look like we have our next gen in place. #peoplepotential #leadership
