June is a time for planning in Ascensos too, This is when we start planning peak for some of the UK's best loved and global brands including Aldi, Monsoon, John Lewis & Partners and DFS In 2022/23 Q4/Q1 ALDI enjoyed it's best peak period results ever ! ⏲ A reduction in the "average speed to answer" of 34 seconds. ⏲ A reduction in the "average handling time" of 55 seconds. ⬆ At the same time managing an increase in total customer voice contacts of more than 10,000. ⬇ All this combined to deliver a reduction in " cost per contact" greater than 50% vs the previous year. An excellent reminder from Martin Newman about the things that matter in building and growing a healthy business. Whilst many of us quote Peter Drucker’s remark that culture eats strategy for breakfast … it’s not to imply that building a winning business culture is an easy choice for a leader … it’s actually much harder than crafting a ‘perfect’ strategy. But if you are prepared to invest the leadership courage, energy and long term commitment (and are able to take your owners with you…) there’s no doubt that you can create a more resilient and creative business, and gain real advantage over your competitors.

Our reprogrammed EVP – embracing change    Our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) reflects the key reasons why our employees are proud and motivated to work at ALDI SÜD IT. It’s our promise to both existing and future employees; we shape it through our behaviour and attitudes. What another fantastic session with the team at Portwest in Killarney this week. I worked with the team on: 💰 Selling styles on the Shopfloor and how to connect, engage and build brand loyalty with shoppers. 🧍♀️🧍🧍♂️Identifing customer profiles on the Shopfloor and having a selling preference for that customer persona. 🛍️🛒 Lots of role plays on how to upsell and link sell with shoppers through meaningful conversations that engage and connect with customers.
