Have you yet to master the perfect poached egg? Here’s our foolproof recipe, all you will need is: 🥚1 tbsp white wine vinegar 🥚As many eggs as you wish to poach To make: 1️⃣ Fill a large saucepan or deep frying pan with water and add the vinegar. Bring to the boil, then turn the heat down to a simmer. 2️⃣ Crack the egg into a small bowl. You could use a fine strainer to all the runnier egg white to drain off. 3️⃣ Stir the water to create a gentle whirlpool. Then carefully slide the egg into the water. Make sure the heat is low enough not to throw the egg around. Note: there should only be small bubbles rising. 4️⃣ Cook for 3-4 minutes, until the white is cooked through. 5️⃣ Use a slotted spoon to remove the eggs and blot any water from the base on a clean tea towel or kitchen towel. You can add more than one egg to the pan, just make sure there is enough room. And that is all you need to do, to make the perfect poached eggs! Make sure to save this for later 🥚

#recipeoftheday Today, cook something special for them! How about Tater Tots? Ready in 15 minutes! Directions: Step 1 Heat large nonstick skillet over medium heat and grease it with cooking spray. Step 2 Arrange 6 tater tots in a rectangle, side by side, on one side of the skillet. Repeat to make another rectangle with remaining tater tots on the other side of the skillet. Step 3 With a large spatula (preferably metal) press down hard on each tater tot rectangle to form a flat square patty. You may need to press down repeatedly to help the tater tots hold together. Cook until the bottom sides of the tater tots begin to crisp, about 3 to 5 minutes. Sprinkle each square with cheese (this helps everything stay together!) then cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid and continue cooking until the cheese is melted. Step 4 Use a spatula to carefully flip one cheesy square onto the other to form a sandwich. Press down again with the spatula and continue to cook the sandwich until both sides are crispy, about 3 minutes more. Keep it hot for hours. TIP OF THE DAY>>> Easy Shredded Chicken Shredding cooked chicken is easy either with an electric stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or a handheld mixer. Begin with cooked, boneless, skinless chicken. Choose your preferred method to cook the meat—pan fry, bake, poach or grill. For best results, use warm chicken when shredding. If your chicken is cold, warm it up on the stove or in the microwave. Boneless and skinless chicken breasts or thighs tend to be more common cuts of chicken to shred, but you can use any part of the chicken. Choose a Low mixer setting. Shred the chicken until you read your desired consistency, usually 30 seconds to 1 minute mixing/shredding time.

Time to put your cooking skills to the test with a simple poached egg. All you're going to need is water, salt, and our eggs🥚 Boil Water: Fill a saucepan with water and bring it to a gentle simmer. Crack Egg: Crack a fresh egg into a small bowl. Poach Egg: Gently slide the cracked egg into the simmering water. Cook: Poach the egg for about 3-4 minutes for a runny yolk or 5-6 minutes for a firmer yolk. Serve: Use a slotted spoon to remove the poached egg from the water, let it drain briefly, and then serve. 🍽️🍳

Merry #Christmas Everyone, When growing up my Grandma Margaret would make a breakfast casserole. Here's my attempt at it! 10 eggs, whisked Two bags of hashbrowns, browned 1/2 pound of cheese, shredded (like me) 1 pack of sausage, cooked & diced 1. Place browned hashbrowns in Pyrex of any size, mix in 2 handfuls of cheese to form and sausage 2. Pour eggs over & mix to fully cover 3. Preheat Oven to 350*F, place inside COVERED WITH TINFOIL for 25 min 4. Drop on door of oven, cry, scrape off and reform. 5. Remove tinfoil, add last layer of cheese and choice of seasoning (oregano, thyme, rosemary and parsley, pictured) and cook for another 15min, 6. Remove for oven, check form and setting, Serve hot or cold, Serves 6 to 10 depending on size of people. approximately 550 calories per 3in by 3in square.

FOoD LOvE I love baking popovers once I learned how easy they are to prepare, bake and enjoy. I love how airy they are. I love how you could eat them with jam. Personally, I am a diehard black cherry preserves lover. I posted it here before: I like Preppy Kitchen’s recipe, former Math/Science teacher, John Kanell is precise and his recipes are so easy to follow. 👩🍳1 1/4 cups of flour, I use bread flour. 👩🍳1 1/4 cups milk 👩🍳3 lg eggs, room temperature 👩🍳3/4 tsp salt 👩🍳3 tbsp melted butter Heat oven 450 F. Blend in Blender for 20 seconds. Scrap, blend for another 20 seconds. Refrigerate until buttered tins are ready. Heat tins in oven for 10 minutes. Quick blend of mixture for 10 seconds, and pour mixture into tins. Bake 18 minutes. Do not open oven. Reset oven to 350 F and bake for another 18 minutes. Insert knife to let out steam. Let them rest for a minute. Transfer to serving tray. ☕️ Eat together. Mimosas optional, lattes are wonderful. #creation #sundayvibes #family

𝐀𝐢𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 Here is the latest video of my sweet and sour pork. Deep frying may not be the best option for home cooking, as it requires a lot of oil and is considered unhealthy. Therefore, I replaced deep frying with air frying in this recipe. The result is nearly identical, although the pork may not be as crispy.
