If your and your loved ones’ health is doing okay, you’re doing great. Nothing else matters. Not career stagnation, financial insecurity, relationship troubles, office politics, nothing. Enter an ICU to see decaying bodies with invasive equipment in them. Helplessly dependent on others to clean them in their white beds while the smell of sanitizer makes you nauseous. Hope for a graceful exit. Prepare for a messy one. What you do with your body today will decide.

Hi Varun. So well put 🙂 I am suffering from a slipped disc currently, and I so very well understand the importance of good health. The only thing that you have in mind and you pray for is Recovery.

Only few can understand the feelings behind this post. Unfortunately people don't realise it till it's someone very close and you go through seeing them in such a situation. I hope people start putting health as their first priority with healthy habits. They are tough to adopt but much needed. I always talk about it with my close ones.

Wow, Varun Gupta, seeing this other side of you beyond the layers of your beautiful humour is an absolute pleasure, so much depth, so much simplicity, so much profoundness... Thank you for being you.

Couldn’t agree more, especially having seen a parent go through a messy exit because they didn’t prioritize their health.

Well said....Not just for exit.....to enjoy even today, everyday...we need good health. Nothing more important than being fit to enjoy a day, food and so many things.

Varun....point well taken. Just one pointer.. ...one doesn't have to always chase good , to exit the bad. Think good, do good, feel good, exude good and take on whatever bad, God forbid- on the strength of "all the good". No premonition. Just optimism.

Health is the foundation upon which everything else is built. The stark reality of an ICU can really bring this into focus. Let’s take care of our bodies now so that we can enjoy life to the fullest, avoiding those harsh realities if we can.

Thank you for the reminder, I often lose sight of this. I am truly blessed me and my loved ones are doing good.

Once you stand outside an ICU and observe what people around you are going through, you realize that we have been fretting over issues which don't really matter at the end.
