What a remarkable journey we've embarked on this past week in Barcelona!
A huge thank you to our esteemed joint Channel Partners, Dell Technologies and VMware colleagues for all your energetic engagement and participation in our joint events at VMware Explore Barcelona.
Our Partner presence and engagement were the keystones of our collaborative success. This event was not just a showcase of innovation and technology; it was a vibrant gathering of minds and a celebration of partnership. From dynamic 1st EMEA Channel Padel Tennis tournament, insightful discussions to forging stronger connections, we proved that together, we are shaping the future of technology.
Our joint Partners contributions to our discussions on MultiCloud, Generative AI, and Edge computing session were not only insightful but instrumental in defining the roadmap for our shared technological ventures as we move into new area of opportunities.
We - Michael R and Andreas Limmer - are proud of the collective expertise and forward-thinking displayed during our time together.
Let us continue to foster our partnerships, as we navigate and shape the technology landscape of tomorrow.

So, #vmwareexplore2023 light have gone out, the plane has landed and all the goodies from the event are sorted. Now it is time to sort the thoughts and new knowledge. So much new information obtained, and yet more is on the way - yes, it's physically impossible to attend all the sessions and talk to all the great experts in those four days. That's when session recordings and slides come in handy - VMware Explore might look like it has ended, but it's not over yet. It is one of the biggest IT conferences in Europe (if not the biggest) - you'd be fool to assume you'd eat this whole pie in just one bite!
Same as in my first VMworld 2017, I feel inspired by the opportunities that all the new technologies and tendencies open. For me this is the best place to keep in touch with what is going on in the industry. Same as in my first VMworld 2017, I feel scared by how much I have yet to learn to keep up with the evolution of the industry, yet I also feel extremely happy - like a person who just manages to squeeze in between the closing doors of the Barcelona metro train.
Yes, for me, and hopefully not only me, #vmwareexplore is the possibility to keep those doors open, so that we all can go in the train of technology development together. That is why I always invite technical people to go to VMware Explore, at least once, to try and see. I cannot guarantee that, but I hope that once you come, it will become and remain the same source of motivation and inspiration as it is for me!

One of the privileges of my work is that I get to go to a variety of tech conferences, gatherings, and meet-ups and absorb all kinds of information and experiences.
All Things Open Conference was no different, and I tried to share some of the biggest take-aways from this year's event in this blog:

VMware Explore Singapore is just round the corner on 27-28Sept.
Every year, the South East Asia & Korea (SEAK) team tries to do something unique for VMware Explore Singapore. This year, we created a fun application called "Your Price is Right", that is based on a famous game show of similar name. We will display a nice prize and the participants have to guess the price. The person with the closest price will win the prize. Through this game, we will show case Tanzu Application Platform (TAP) and Tanzu Observability by Wavefront and you get a chance to win some nice prizes.
To encourage as many of you to come for VMware Explore Singapore, the VMware Employees also created a promotional video. This is filmed in-house by our VMware team but it is all done in good fun. If you have not already done so, register now for VMware Explore Singapore. ➡ https://lnkd.in/ga96mMDN
