Indian Regulator Finds Issues With SpiceJet’s Pilot Training India’s aviation regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), has penalized low-cost carrier SpiceJet after finding faults in its pilot training methods. This isn’t the first time SpiceJet has been fined for something like this. Last year, the DGCA issued a show-cause notice to the carrier for training its Boeing 737 MAX pilots on a faulty simulator.
