This is probably the most impressive locomotive maneuver you will see today! 🚆🚆💥 Two EuroDual Locomotives leased by European Loc Pool to our customer ECCO Rail were successfully 'rescued' in Northwest Germany. 🎉 This operation was necessary due to an accident that occurred last week on the connecting bridge, an essential part of the only railway line leading to the destination intended for both locomotives. As Michael Kappler CEO of ECCO Rail Germany says: “The bridge accident at the port of Brake impacted our business considerably, but our special rescue operation was successful. We are glad our both EuroDual locomotives are safe and back in business.” The EuroDual is a gamechanger in rail transport, combining a massive 500kN tractive effort with the versatility of both electric and diesel operation. Eve and DHL Supply Chain , a global leader in warehousing and distribution, announced today the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to conduct a study of key demands and supply chain characteristics for Eve's eVTOL operation. The primary goal of the partnership is to explore and understand best practices for supplying operators and service centers with spare parts and inputs, with an emphasis on batteries and the specific requirements concerning transport, storage and disposal of those devices. Other aspects reviewed will include modes of transportation, frequency, and delivery plan, required logistics partners, potential locations for advanced inventories, physical and technological infrastructure requirements and contingency plans. Our Vice President of Services and Operations Solutions, Luiz Renato Mauad , said: "We are transforming urban air mobility, which also brings logistical challenges.
