Tax khatamm karooo. Should be the slogan! We heae politicians and their forefathers are killing rhe interest of Nation. Its Nation to respond with one Notion.
Instead of protesting against the taxes, I believe there should be protests to force the Government to build a portal that shows where our taxes go. All countries do this and Pakistan is way behind, there's nothing good in tax avoidance but I'll personally happily pay my taxes if I know where my money is going. This does not mean that the current revised tax rates, whether for income tax or corporate tax, are fair in any way but there should be an uproar against the Government which forces it to incorporate accountability. Taxes are essential for any government to run. This could even be a great idea for startups to collaborate with the Government of Pakistan and create a portal that builds trust between the government and taxpayers. I know this is a very optimistic approach to the situation but one can at least hope for a better future.
This nation is suffering from "boiling frog syndrome", nothing is going to change. This requires masses to come out of the comfort zone, and also we as educated people fully need to understand how the Economy works. High Taxes are bad, but if you understand economy on a national/international level, there is nothing much we can do about it. My guess is, that it is going to get worst in the coming months/years.
Those who participated in this protest played there role in taking initiative. Rest of the salaried individual should also be gathered somewhere in big cities.
This protest need to mass level every pakistani salary base and tax paid person participation this protest .unfortunately our haram khoor nalik politican and haram khoor bagora company so call muhafiz demolish the state today more increass basic electricity traff or ogra also prepare the increass natural gas prices, we pay the taxes but govt no give any facilities, speacily in karachi....if condition same like this may be pakistan finishing very soon .Allha save us ..
This is not a final solution, they will steal your money from another way. Don't worry. They are just playing.
