Spelling mistake creates intense and lighter moments: My Brain Drain and Salary Tax post had a typo in which “increase” was spelled “inerease”. The art work was made on Sunday by volunteers and typo of “e” for “c” missed eyes of 3 people including mine. Some friends were upset and rightly so that this shouldn’t have been state of educated people while creating visual. Nouman points out that “increase” was spelled incorrectly and adds that “true testament that educated class fleed the country so someone less educated created the poster 😁”. Mansoor then quips to Nouman, “fled” not “fleed” 😂. Linkedin should allow change of image/pictures as facebook does. But it allows only editing text. Twitter/X premium account allows editing of text in 60 mins. Previously this feature wasn’t available on X. Elon Musk held a Twitter poll on adding edit option which got more than 3 million “yes” votes. So big “yes” for Linkedin to go for full editing option including pictures and text.

The world will reach the space but our people will still make sure sitting on earth with worst economy, worst tax slabs that there is spelling error, there is pronunciation error, which literally makes me think when will we be out of this English slavery lol. The poster was made, message was understood, we do not need to criticize minor little things instead should have focused on the message that is worth criticizing, the TAX SLABS not increase or inerease. I literally didn't even notice it before.

That's called illusion 😂 This is nothing! Let me tell you, my organisation got the engraving on wooden benches with a typo error because I typed them and then they were through three seniors and no one noticed it. Let's accept our mistakes and move on. 😂 Btw I believe, typo is just a mistake, poorly designed posters and poor aesthetics are a real crime. 😂 - not talking about yours but I have seen some really bad ones.

Dear WS, given our tough economic situation with skyrocketing inflation and unemployment, it's completely understandable that many educated individuals are seeking better opportunities abroad. Instead of so-called "brain drain," we should actually be cheering them on. Even – in Islam, migration has always been crucial for spiritual, educational and socio-economic growth. Plus, those who go abroad often send back remittances that are invaluable to our economy. It's a lifeline for many families and boosts our national finances. By changing our perspective, we can start to see migration as a beneficial exchange rather than a loss. Those who leave can gain new skills and experiences, and they often bring those back home, contributing even more. Let's wish them well and support them, recognizing that their success abroad can ultimately lead to positive changes here. 😊

Opinion: What does mean by less educated, ha? Ghlat spelling he TU ha, English he TU ha? Educated honay ka kaya criteria ha? Knowledge is what we believe to know, believe to have learned, believe to have a record or memory. And all our knowledge is based on beliefs. And the only fundamental truth is we don't know, everything is an illusion. Education is what has been taught or learned by someone. Who would be the extra or par educated?

Spelling mistakes can sometimes be a good thing - they provide more content to post and may even increase engagement. 😂😂 The underlying message is strong: brain drain is a serious issue in Pakistan. Talented businesspeople and skilled human resources are looking to relocate, and this is a real cause for concern. The main focus should be on how to stop brain drain in Pakistan.

The post actually created some lighter moments. That's one aspect of it. Wahaj Siraj however the content was spot on and that was the essence of your post. People in power should address this issue or otherwise we are left with mediocrity, tbh, apologies. I like your idea of edit option though. Please keep sharing and highlighting relevant issues. Those lighter moments are a source of laughter in our grinding routines and should not discourage anyone doing good work 👏

Spellings mistakes shouldn't be a big deal, we all make many. Important thing is to understand the context of the story and such comments show lack of seriousness on a very important topic which is a reason why we are here today as a nation.
