🔶 Carlyle and CVC: Two of the biggest private equity firms in the world.. They have been known for flagship #investments in traditional sectors. This time, it is about a gaming company: Jagex. In the last years, we have seen a strong increase in gaming investments. First, by small investors.. then by the top ones.. As of 2023, the total mergers & acquisitions activity reached c. $90 billion in value and 950 deals were closed globally. Together with the rise of AR, VR and AI, the trend looks positive for the industry. and the big financial #investors such as Carlyle and CVC will be staying in the "game".
