Leading recycling solutions and waste minimization provider has an immediate opening for a Vice President of Sales, based in Saint Louis, Missouri. The client prefers that the candidate works from the St. Louis office, but will consider Hybrid or Remote for the right candidate. In this position, you will: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals Identify and pursue new business opportunities Ensure high performance in meeting sales targets. Key Responsibilities include: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and industry partners Conducting market research to identify trends and competitive threats Collaborating with other departments for seamless service delivery Staying updated on industry trends and best practices. Goals for the role include: Generating at least 5 leads per month through various channels Converting 25% of leads into new clients Conducting at least 2 client meetings per month to pitch new solutions and upsell existing services Making a minimum of 5 cold calls per week to prospect for new business opportunities. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field 7+ years of sales experience preferably in the waste and recycling industry Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills The ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events. Compensation includes: Base salary of $120,000 per year Incentives based on contracts closed and new clients acquired (estimated $10k annually) Profit sharing based on exceeding sales targets (estimated $20k annually) Potential relocation assistance.
