Taking risks is not often associated with the nonprofit sector. Yet, I've witnessed impressive and nimble , calculated experiments and pilots especially when it comes to leveraging new technologies or modalities. In my observation and past experience, innovation in process, efficiency gains and cost savings often stem from nonprofits - the scrappy mindset breeds creativity and discovery. A most recent example is developing new inventory management by a small food bank or a refugee support service translating US immigration forms in the most requested dialects. There are experiments everywhere. Let's not underestimate the sector. Ever. #nonprofits #innovationstartshere #aifornonprofits
