It's election season around the world, so who will be the IOC's next president? While not due until 2025, when the current IOC president Thomas Bach is due to stand down, insiders are already discussing who will be elected to arguably the most powerful position in world sport. I don’t t know if we can still call it ambush marketing if it is made so official. Interesting to read how the Olympic marketing is changing.

Have we reached the point in sports where coming second and third dont count. Clearly the medal table now ranks the number of Gold medals and no credit for the accumulative effort of collecting silver and bronze medals. So, if a team came 1st, 2nd and 3rd to collect 3 medals i.e. "Team Work", its only the athlete who received Gold that ranks overall. Team GB got a total of 65 medals which in my books puts them in 3rd place. This isn't just about unequal pay; it's about how deeply ingrained disparities affect Black, Indigenous, Queer, Trans, and other women of color because we encounter even greater challenges due to intersecting identities and invisible labor. Many of us continue to champion equal pay and benefits to create more inclusive workplaces. Every day, we try to create more equitable society. It's time for those in positions of power to take decisive action and confront these challenges head-on.
