Hey Indiana(polis)!
Do you know someone who is:
* undeterred from the war on representation in the workforce?
* leaning in and doing heavy lifts in the community to bring narrow the wealth gap for the marginalized and underserved?
* tireless in efforts to amplify diverse voices and organizations?
* a strategy leader, knocking down obstacles and creating opportunities for equity and belonging?
* leading/working with a non-profit focused on addressing issues of parity for women, LGBTQ, the neurodiverse, those living with disabilities, the impoverished, the incarcerated, those struggling with addiction?
* doing great work in their community or industry, but are overlooked?
Here's your chance to recognize their good works! The Champions of Diversity Award highlights individuals, companies and organizations exhibiting exemplary commitment to diversity in Indiana throughout the year. You can and should take the time to shine a light on those who rarely get recognized. Those who work hard, but are not standing in the spotlight. Those who you know are convicted and determined to keep going, even when the headlines are bleak.
Take time to recognize these individuals. And note that even if your nominee doesn't get the nod, it is still an honor to be nominated and recognized. Please know that. And if you feel compelled to amplify that person or organization, post something about them on LinkedIn. Celebrate others.
Here's the nomination form. The deadline is September 29. But start working now! https://lnkd.in/gY5Mqy8w
