The reception was overwhelmingly positive. A number of major customers across natural, grocery, food service, and e-commerce expressed interest in our Wafers, Wafels & LEOS.

A few things we noticed at the show:
✅ Assortment
Despite having launched Wafers last year and Leos early this year, many attendees still associated our brand and company with Rip Van Wafels. They were unaware of Wafers & Leos.
Seeing and tasting the assortment helped internalize that we have 3 distinct product lines that are incremental and present a “low sugar assortment” to satisfy consumer preferences.
✅ Internalizing Delicious & Low Sugar
Many attendees were familiar with our brand but weren’t aware of how low our product is in sugar. Trying the Wafers, Wafels & LEOS was eye-opening and helped internalize that we had reduced the sugar content by 80% in our assortment compared to the leading brands (without using sugar alcohols).
✅ Portion Packed:
Another major selling point at the show was our portion pack format. Namely that our products are portion-packed, perfect as an on-the-go and/or school lunch box snack.

Day 1 Done Natural Products Expo with Caleño Drinks and I couldn’t be happier about how it’s been received.

- sips on lips 300+ of Tropical 🏝️ Non Alcoholic Mojito 🍹 (freshly made I might add)
- the majority of the non alcs at this show are female founded 💃
- WE are educating the retailer, distributor, broker 📚
- thanks to new data emerging from the partnership between NielsenIQ and Adult Non-Alcoholic Beverage Association (ANBA) we can speak clearly about what’s happening in the on premise, off premise and ecom for non alcs. Basket size increases when consumers include non alcoholic purchases with alcoholic ones. More data will come in time. 📈
- conversations with consumers at this show indicate they’re actually seeking out new and adult beverages and expecting more choice when they go out into the on premise 💬
- anecdotally the independents are the driving force in creating the dedicated non alc spaces in their booze sections ✅ and are asking us brands for help on how best to do this
