They're 11-tonne concrete structures housing LED screens, open 24/7 in all weather conditions. 🚀 Shaped like circles reminiscent of sci-fi stargates, these portals symbolize the connection between distant places. Totally agree with Kasra Jadid Haghighi views on the need for the proliferation of portals all over the world. The portal will help to everyone on our planet to understand that despite the arguements and conflicts, we are not much different and in the era of the global challenge of the sustainability pivot needs to work together for big changes and celebrate our achievements together. Portals being shut down because individuals seek to gain their 30 seconds of "fame" in our social media driven work should not derail our need for coordinated collaboration and understanding of differences that make us unique and not to be oppressed. We are results of cultural, geographic and environmental difference, that is also what makes us power drivers of innovation due to our difference. Once we can harness this with respect in open dialog, we can begin our acceleration into endless possiblities that elevate our species as a true protector of our environment and with a new-found ability to chart our future collaboratively. We need portals to be made available all over the world and it will have immense benefit for others to have a real-time glimpse of ASEAN culture too.
