Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Police Chief Johnny Jennings is a class act. We are so lucky to have him as the leader of our police department in Charlotte, NC. 🙏🏻
Charlotte residents’ Mackenzie Hughes and Webb Simpson both pledged to donate to the CMPD Foundation $500 for each birdie and $2,000 for each eagle they recorded during the Wells Fargo Championship this year. They combined for two eagles and 26 birdies for a total of $17,000. In addition, the tournament added $125,000 toward the donation to assist the families of the fallen officers.
Today's agenda: crowning our champion and showering moms with love! Thanks to Harris Teeter, all moms onsite this morning were treated to a delicious chocolate covered strawberry and will be given a free flower upon leaving the tournament!
Let's celebrate in style! 🌸🍓
