I am very pleased to see in the second quarter of 2024, Wells Fargo delivered a solid financial performance under the leadership of CEO Charlie Scharf. The bank experienced growth in diluted earnings per common share compared to both the preceding quarter and the corresponding period from the previous year.  Noteworthy highlights from the quarter include a 6% revenue increase in the Wealth Management division, driven by a 12% surge in noninterest income primarily fueled by higher asset-based fees due to improved market valuations.

Seeing this set of numbers, to be honest, I don’t feel comfortable in the heart. Wells Fargo, as ranks among the four largest banks in the United States, with a net profit margin of 23.67% and a diluted earnings per share to 💲1.33. That's awesome! Bloodthirsty devil! *Diluted EPS = after-tax net profit ÷ (number of common shares in circulation + diluted shares)
