We’re expanding WellSpan’s convenient and expert hospital care in York County! Today we broke ground on WellSpan Newberry Hospital, one of three small-format hospitals that will serve our patients in the neighborhoods where they live, work, and play.

We’re #WellSpanProud of the ten new graduates of our Medical Laboratory Science Program! Each of these students passed the National Board of Certification exam on their first attempt, continuing our 20+ year streak of a 100% first-time pass rate!   Congrats to the class of 2024!

WellSpan York Hospital’s campus is buzzing with construction crews as we prepare to build a surgical and critical care tower that will make it one of the largest hospitals in Pennsylvania. Today, we share in the celebratory spirit of Juneteenth by acknowledging the enduring effects of America’s history of slavery and honoring African American people who demonstrated pride, resilience, and achievement throughout that time. As we recognize the racial injustices that we still face today, WellSpan is focused on removing barriers that result in disproportionate health inequities for Black and African American people in our communities. #Juneteenth
