TWC's Staffing Patterns data can help economic development and workforce planners identify which occupations are hired by local industries (or vice versa). In a speech Monday to Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas's Target Occupations Committee, I noted that Manufacturing and Construction are key sectors in the local economy, and I discussed staffing patterns data showing high-paying jobs in those industries, many of which do not require a four-year degree.
