Hlw #everyone , Here I've done a simple assembly design and simulation of a car #differential_gear_box. This is a very simple overview of how the differential mechanism works. It consists mainly four different parts - 1. Drive pinion with drive shaft (🟢) 2. Ring gear (🔴) 3. Spider gears (🔵) 4. Axle shafts with side gear (🟡) Working - Power transmitted to the differential from the gearbox through drive shaft. When two rear wheel are rotating at a same speed then the spider gear doesn't rotate. When one of the rear wheel moving fast or slow compare to the other one then the spider gear takes place. Spider gear distribute the constant rotation of the drive pinion into two different rotation to the axle shafts. Hi everyone, I have a brief experience in #compositematerials but like a roller coaster. I started with ghetto practices of making Carbon fiber panels and so far I have experience in making #aerospace parts in #Carbonfiber. In this whole journey, I have come across many cases where composite parts/components were disposed off just because of fear of loss of strength in repairing. The fact is that a composite component can be repaired and strength can be regained. Honestly, repairing composite is one of the processes that excites me the most. It does include salvaging a damaged part or repurposing a composite panel or part for manufacturing an entirely different product. The attached post by David Merle shows the repurposed Carbon composite parts to the Surfboard and prosthetics leg.

Insights Behind the Wheel: Navigating Road Safety with Road Accident Analysis Dashboard Excited to share the completion of my second Excel dashboard project, focused on analyzing road accidents! This project involved a comprehensive process, from cleaning and transforming data to applying formulas and building custom columns essential for visualization. I integrated pivot tables, formulas, and charts, meticulously formatting them to craft a fully dynamic and interactive dashboard. Here’s the rundown of the same: Main KPIs: 1. Total Casualties. 2. Casualties by Severity type. 3. Max. Casualties by Vehicle type. Main Charts: 1. Line chart - To compare current year casualties vs previous year casualties. 2. Bar chart - For analysing the max casualties by road type. 3. TreeMap - For max casualties wrt to road surfaces. Used Timeline and slicer to filter data according to our requirements. Takeaways: * Merge similar values into one category to simplify analysis. For example, combining "bikes" and "motorbikes" into a single category labeled "bikes" can streamline data interpretation. * Replace null values with "NA" to ensure completeness and accuracy in the dataset. This prevents discrepancies in analysis due to missing data points. * Develop a dedicated worksheet within the Excel file to assemble all pivot tables used in the analysis. This provides clients with a clear overview of how the data is calculated and allows for easy reference during discussions or presentations. * Implement hyperlinks and links within the dashboard for seamless navigation between different sections or dashboards.
