Self-taught Iraqi astrophotographer Darya Kawa Mirza has been capturing mesmerizing visuals of the moon, showcasing minuscule details. Although Mirza is a government employee and holds a Master’s degree in soil science, his passion lies within celestial bodies. He spends hours and days to capture the moon in its varying phases. Mirza stated uses a Canon EOS 1200D to capture minerals and their vibrant colors. Along with his Canon EOS 1200D, Mirza uses a ZWO ASI 178mc camera to ensure that details are visible. He further stated that the clarity of the images is achieved through the use of a telescope, the Skywatcher 250p Flextube Dobsonian modified on an equatorial mount NEQ 6pro telescope. He stacks more than 81,000 images to capture highly detailed images. Comment and let us know what you think about the images. Video + images: Darya Kawa Mirza
