Not too long ago, I wrapped up my spring internship as a Creative Media Intern with MediaNug. During my time this semester, I had the privilege of being submersed in the fast-paced environment of the media industry, working with both the Entertainment and the Content Teams from development to delivery. Creating mood boards with examples of color-grading, music, imagery, and thematic principles helped give inspiration to build out decks. These decks were utilized in pitching to potential clients for future movie promotions and ads used across various social media platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, Snapchat, Youtube, and Meta. I learned the ins and outs of sourcing and outreach, specifically in the context of gaining permission to use a creator’s content in MediaNug’s Snapchat shows. I’d like to give many thanks to Christopher Heiman for his guidance and mentorship, the opportunity to join the team, and his insistence I get involved with as many different processes in the organization as possible. I’d also like to thank Brendan Bodi and Alex Hausman for welcoming me with open arms and offering every opportunity to learn new things about this multi-faceted industry. Bringing on a remote intern with classes and a time change to work around requires flexibility, adaptability, and quite a bit of extra effort. I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation enough for this team, their efforts, and pushing me to grow as a professional. 🚀 From eager intern in 2019 to Senior Manager today, my journey at Chtrbox has been an exhilarating ride! 🌟 My fascination with advertising and influencer marketing led me to Chtrbox, driven by a simple curiosity about how billboards on highways capture our attention. Little did I know, this curiosity would fuel my passion for understanding the creative process behind influencer marketing. With each passing year, my hunger for knowledge grew stronger, propelling me from Associate Manager in 2022 to Manager in 2023. Along the way, I've had the privilege of working on incredible campaigns with brands like Pinterest, Warner Music, Amazon Alexa, and many more. From collaborating with campus ambassadors to nano, micro, and macro creators, every project has been a learning opportunity. Today, as a Senior Manager, I'm honored to lead our internship program for Chtrbox Youth: ink, witnessing young talent blossom in this ever-evolving industry. Our Sr. Lead often emphasizes the importance of maintaining a "glass half full" approach, instilling in us the belief that trial and error is the learning pathway. My maiden post on LinkedIn and it had to be my reflection on an enriching chapter as a Brand strategist  and Business Analyst Intern at Beats by Dre which had me buzzing with excitement. I dug  into customer exploration to take apart the resurgence of over-ear earphones among the dynamic Gen Z. Every disclosure turned into a breadcrumb prompting the entrancing 'why' behind this attractive pattern. I meticulously studied the genesis of this resurgence amongst the Gen Z which revealed layers causing this timeless trend. The key factors influencing this rise whet  appetite for over-ear headphones  in the audio industry.
