Mark your calendar! As we go for COP28 UAE, we need to ensure #foodsecurity of the planet. I strongly believe that economically empowered women are lifting their communities out of poverty and playing pivotal role in fighting #ClimateChange. I know food and agri-food systems will be on the agenda, come and listen to changemakers' stories in elevating the voice of #WomenInAgriculture.

I learned in Cambodia that my name repeated "SuSu" means: To work hard, to fight, to never give up. A cheer of good luck earned through grit. On my last night in Cambodia, all the teachers were chanting: Sue Sue!! Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a David. I have chosen in this lifetime to continuously fight Goliath. I think David was a woman. I am often fueled by inspiration and hope. This #internationalwomensday I am fueled by #exhaustion Deep conversations with leading female founders reveal we are all tired. Our stories similar: We carry a burden and take it seriously. We are smart. We pivot. We are resourceful. We have sharks swim in our waters, we have to fight. We are asked for credentials daily. We face sexual harassment. We are asked about babies, pregnancy and age. We work on business relationships for months to find they have ulterior motives. We have experienced hatred for being "too much". These are NOT rare occurrences. We stick to our values. We are #bcorps. We create #impact #globalfutures, #climateweek, #cop28, #theforum, #CIAC2024 #Realcomm. We have proven technologies (tested and verified of course) to solve #SDGs. We have won many awards. #weempowerunsdgchallenge #climateleaders #cop28 #vitalvoices #cop28uae #uvic #apf #kpmg #bmo We inspire you on big stages with huge visions and time tested tech. -- And then, those paid by others, say "We need ideas" WE ARE RIGHT HERE. Remember us that inspired you? WE ARE TIRED OF INSPIRING YOU. We have what you need. You know the stats. Women-led companies return 35% ROI and 12% more profits (when VC backed). Which means when we can concentrate on sales, not raising constantly. Strategize. Pivot. Repeat. WE WANT MONEY. If you want to support woman, read the stats and open your chequebook. That act in itself creates impact. #dei #wbe INVEST IN US. If you have to think of us as a cause, for some reason, charities and women receive the same amount of funding, then do! Because we are smart and will get you a 30% tax credit. The story is the same. We are constantly on the edge of failure. It takes women 2x longer, 2x as many meetings, 100x as many "no's" to raise 2% of funding. White male-led companies receive 99.5% of procurement. #thinkaboutthat BUY FROM US Many #femalefounders are closing down their companies in 2024. We are constantly riding the razor's edge of failure. These are woman who are privileged and white. Who have achieved what looks like success. A fraction of this goes to women of color and diverse founders.
