As professionals, we often focus heavily on our career goals and achievements. While these are crucial, it's equally important to invest in our personal growth and aspirations outside of work. With the flurry of many end-of-school-year music concerts that just wrapped up, I witnessed my children’s own performances at their respective Symphonic Strings Band and Orchestra. They were passionate playing with their friends. They made mistakes, giggled through but were brave enough to get back on track. It was a perfect concert in my mind. It struck me that I have left my own musical passions behind for many years- because I was “too busy” being a grown up. Starting today, my summer goal is simple. Just learn how to play the cello again. My ambition: Perform a family Christmas concert by December this year (in front of a very small audience of course)! Welcome any songs recommendation that is actually achievable in a 6 months period for rusty beginners. #WorkLifeBalance
