Musical Inspirations We all have role models from celebrities to other musicians that we see live. Very often we can look back in our lives and remember a particularly inspirational moment, person or turning point. I have had the wonderful chance to work with some fabulous names who have repeatedly inspired me more and more and more, constantly reigniting that flame deep inside me. How do you spend your Saturdays? I spend mine practicing for Orchestral concerts. We perform once in every 3 months and then take a one-month break after which we resume. We practice for 12 weeks. I will be playing at the concert tomorrow to mark the end of the season tomorrow. I use music to unwind. It is a shared passion between my later father and I. Singing, playing an instrument, or listening to music is so refreshing. Sometimes, by the end of the week, I usually feel body aches because of the hassle and exerting activities. However, music has a way of making it go away. When we are on a break, I will meet other instrumentalists to practice or take a trip to someplace. It is important to find some time to rest and engage in an activity that is not work-related. Remember, all work and no play make Jack a dull boy.
