Metema project - Frankincense: a root to climate smart resilience for vulnerable communities in North Gondar Zone in Ethiopia (UKAM Project). ✔️ Two biannual multi-stakeholder workshops conducted in which 35 stakeholders including the leaders of PFMCs, the Judiciary, and pertinent sector offices participated and discussed about the forest governance situation and the project’s progress towards ensuring improved local forest governance by the local communities to whom the forest is granted to responsively manage. ✔️ Joint task force field monitoring, discussion, and dialogue on forest law enforcement was also conducted. ✔️ Facilitated training for PFMCs in group dynamics including gender equity and conflict management was one of the plans for the reporting period.
