What lies behind the trend where artists are setting up their own museums? Part of it could be a wish to present a more in-depth view of their works, curated by themselves even. Another reason might be that it is positive for the market value of the artists... Read all about it in the article below:

The idea that a gallery should guarantee a certain number of sales to any artist they show makes about as much sense as an artist guaranteeing a certain number of sales to any gallery that shows their art. Galleries do their absolute best to pick artists whose art they believe they can sell. Likewise, artists should do their absolute best to work with galleries they believe will be able to sell their art. Responsibility for making informed decisions lies with all parties, not just the galleries.

Two suggestions for visiting an art exhibition for those in Hamburg, both art exhibitions at the Hamburger Kunsthalle, both art exhibitions revolving with their underlaying ideas, around the concept of double perspective and double vision, which some might find it interesting:), (for more details, see the links bellow): https://lnkd.in/d8J9_Nre https://lnkd.in/dXZJect9

One of three Peace Paintings, titled "And Our Heroes Have Misplaced Their Map" is exhibited in the first Lincolnshire Virtual Open exhibition here: https://lnkd.in/espiSTT3 I'm very sceptical about including my work anywhere locally, as I really need buyers to buy my work, not those who want to grift my ideas for "inspiration". And my work always sells anywhere else. This is why I have not included the Monaco paintings. The Monaco paintings are meant to be exhibited in Monaco to wealthy art collectors. This is the aim. 1:Aim 2: Believe 3: Receive. Follow the instructions to purchase work. Thankyou.

What a gorgeous painting Brian! In your Visual Art and our music together, your sense of the 'narrative' of life, the stories, social commentary and recognition of beauty in the apparently ordinary, fleeting moments of the everyday is always evident. As in this painting, you successfully imbue your work with empathy, poignancy, and atmosphere. https://lnkd.in/eSasgZiR
