I’m excited to officially welcome Tami Cabaniss as USAA’s Chief Human Resources Officer! Tami is an accomplished HR executive with more than 20 years of experience at innovative companies, and her unique perspective will accelerate our progress in building the skills, teams and agility to deliver on our mission in a dynamic and fast-changing environment. As the granddaughter of a Navy veteran, she understands the importance of our mission and is passionate about supporting the military community and their families. This, coupled with her experienced HR leadership, will help us sustain and build on our strong culture while ensuring our teammates are equipped and ready to serve members with excellence today and in the future. Welcome, Tami. We’re happy to have you with us on team USAA!
Great to see a CSU Alum in the new role! Perhaps another seasoned SV exec bringing some fresh perspective to USAA (and perhaps enjoying a move to TX?). I've seen some additional comments in here that hold merit as well. I've seen the height of dissatisfaction with USAA Insurance surge since 2016+, and a surge in brand damaging branding since 2020+... coincidentally lines up with Mr Peacock's tenure of leading P&C and later as all of USAA. Tami as the new CHRO looks like a move in the right direction. Will hold hope it's a move in a continuing positive trend. A Marine Vet and long time USAA Customer.
I would love to say it one more time, please make sure that USAA remembers why they started and who they are.
Welcome to USAA!
Wayne Peacock, I have been a patron of USAA for eons. My insurance has always been great. I need help from you.
