Championship Teams - Boston Celtics The storied Boston Celtics won their 18th title this week. How do some teams seem to do better than others? They know how to win, expect to win, and have the desire to prepare to win. The Celtics had a good team committed to the purpose, goals, and continuous improvement toward their own true potential You always hear championship teams talk about “team chemistry”. This is key and comes back to belief, commitment, and trust. They all believed and committed to do their part. They depended on each other, held each other accountable, and when challenges arose, (a key player injury) they always had the “next man up” attitude with zero fear. Do you have a championship team? Do you and your team believe in and have a clear picture of what true potential looks like? Have you 100% committed to it? Do you trust everyone on the team? There are only a few things in your business that produce the most results. Do you and your team know what they are and are you focused on spending most of your time there? The Celtics had a bold goal, built the right team, committed to their belief, and trusted they would get there. Oh yes, and they had a good ole Indiana boy who assembled the Celtics 18th championship team. Brad Stevens, Celtics President is a former coach who focuses on a few simple fundamentals and concepts. His deals were instrumental in putting the pieces in place to get there. His competitive coaching and management style mimics a former Celtics star, and also an Indiana native, who also helped the Celtics win 3 of their championships – Larry Bird. (The same Larry Bird who scored 54 against my high school team!) So, the keys are: Belief and commitment to winning Assemble the right team Include a good ole Indiana boy 😉

Race Report from RD 4 of The Kart Championship at Rowrah. 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠: Lap 3 was a bit of a disaster as I ended up in the wall... through the wood chips. Let's just say, wood chips in the helmet and under the butt are not so comfortable! Despite this woodland excursion, I managed to finish qualifying in P12. 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝟏: Started from P12. Made up some early ground and was tailing 7th place for most of the race. Unfortunately, I misjudged their braking as the XKART brake allows us to brake much later than the OTK. This caused me to run into the back of them, spinning both of us out. Not too bad, but we were given an on-track penalty for this, which is why we finished P17. 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝟐: A better heat than the first one. Got another great start and launched into the top ten by lap 1. Avoiding contact allowed me to make more ground, and I finished with a respectable P7. 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝟏: Started from P8 and got off to a great, aggressive start, making up 2 positions straight away. The top runners had a large gap that I couldn’t close, but I managed to reach 5th place and stick a move in. A great first super heat with a 5th place finish! 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝟐: Once again, P8 to P5. Another lightning-fast race, gaining 3 places right off the start and even managing to get up to 4th place. Unfortunately, our team ran the wrong tire pressures, allowing others to come back through and the leading group to pull away. Still, another great super heat maintaining P5. 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥: Not much to say other than it was a masterclass of team orders from one of my main rivals for the championship. Right off the start, a driver from my rival's team drove me off track, causing me to lose all the ground I had made up in the super heats. Just two corners later, another driver from the same team pushed me past my limit and onto the grass in a battle of wills. I tried my best to make up ground but just couldn’t. Ended up in P9, so it could have been worse. Team orders at its finest, ensuring I couldn't challenge Kacper for the lead.

Organization Performance will Increase Now! Meeting Planners will Create Outstanding Events! CEOs will Increase Productivity with RELENTLESS Leaders & RELENTLESS Sales Performers Through Behavior Change! ASK HOW!
HE LOST 19,000 TIMES! A young jockey lost his first race, his second, his third, his first 10, his first 20. But he was Relentless. He lost his first 100 races, his first 200 races, but he Bounced Back…and lost 50 more. After 250 straight loses, Eddie Arcaro won his first race in 1932. He went on to become the most famous jockey of his era, winning the most money four times over 8 years. Eddie Arcaro rode 250 losers before he won his first race. The Relentless Eddie won 5 Derby winners, 6 in the Preakness and 6 in the Belmont Stakes for a total of 17 Triple Crowns and purse winnings of over $30 million. Eddie rode in over 24,000 races… winning over 4700…which means he lost over 19,000 times. One of the greatest jockeys in history LOST 81% of his races… and is considered great, because he continually Bounced Back! How many times have we failed… or felt like we’ve failed… and wanted to quit or give up? What if after the 100th…175th…or 250th loss, Eddie decided not to get on another horse? Nobody cares how many times we’ve failed, it’s not PROOF that we will fail the next time! Almost nothing works the first time it’s attempted. Just because what we’re doing doesn’t seem to be working, doesn’t mean it won’t work. It just means that it might not work the way we’re doing it. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it and we wouldn’t have an opportunity. An Old Chinese saying says, “The temptation to quit will be greatest just before you are about to succeed.” What isn’t working right now? Write it down. Maybe you need to keep doing it to gain success. #Success #Relentless #EddieArcaro

Thinking about betting on the Derby? Here is some basic information. Pick a horse and bet him to win (finish first), place (finish second) or show (finish third). These are $2 base bets, and you can certainly bet more if you'd like. You can also bet the horse "across the board," meaning you have it to win, place and show — which is a $6 bet on a $2 base bet. All non-straight wagers are referred to as exotic bets. Exacta = pick the first two finishers in one race in exact order. Quinella = pick the first two finishers in one race in either order. Double = picking the winner of two consecutive races. Boxing = play all combinations of the horse you select so that you wine when they come in any order.

🏆 𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗡𝗼 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿: 𝗦𝗲́𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝗲𝗯'𝘀 𝗪𝗥𝗖 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 🏆 Imagine dominating a sport so thoroughly that your name becomes synonymous with victory. That's exactly what Sébastien Loeb achieved in the World Rally Championship (WRC). From 2004 to 2012, Loeb clinched a record nine consecutive world titles, a feat that remains unmatched in the annals of rallying history. 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Loeb's journey to the pinnacle of WRC was marked by relentless ambition and unparalleled skill. His record-breaking spree began in 2004, when he not only won his first championship but also became the first non-Nordic driver to win the snow-based Swedish Rally. By 2005, he had already set a new standard by winning six consecutive rallies, surpassing Timo Salonen's record from 1985. His mastery over various terrains was evident as he claimed victories on snow, gravel, and tarmac alike. 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 Loeb's dominance did more than just fill a trophy cabinet; it revolutionized the sport. Before his era, drivers often specialized in certain surfaces, but Loeb's comprehensive approach pushed competitors to excel on all terrains. His technique, prioritising exit speed over flamboyant slides, changed the driving style in rallying, making it clear that to win championships, one must be versatile and adapt to every challenge. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 Despite his success, Loeb's career was not without its hurdles. A mountain biking accident in 2006 resulted in a broken arm, sidelining him for the final four rallies of the season. Yet, his resilience and determination saw him return stronger, continuing to set records and redefine excellence in WRC. What do you think makes a champion like Loeb stand out? Is it the raw talent, the relentless drive, or perhaps the ability to overcome adversity? #WRC #Rallying #MotorsportLegends #LoebLegacy 🏁👑 What does it take to be a nine-time world champion? #ChampionMindset #RallyingHistory #SebastienLoeb 🏁👑
