During my late teens and early 20s I rented from plenty of sh*tty landlords. But those landlords taught me more about real estate than any online course could. I moved out of home when I was 18 and I moved around a lot. So I had to deal with my fair share of awful landlords. Landlords that: -Provided no support. -Acted like emotionless robots. -Gave the bare minimum with communication. And it made my life 10x harder than it needed to be. But it wasn’t till I got into real estate that I started to appreciate those experiences. Because it was a perfect example of what I DIDN’T want to be like. I wanted to be able to: -Provide the most support possible. -Show my tenants that I cared about them. -Communicate regularly to avoid misunderstandings. And without my personal experience, I probably wouldn’t have such high standards. But as a result, I have great relationships with my tenants. So if you want the smoothest experience possible with your tenant… ↳ Treat them how you would want to be treated. Because it’ll make your life & their life a whole lot easier.
