“Yara is now demonstrating that this can be done. They have been a frontrunner, first mover. We need to decarbonize, and we need to produce more renewable energy.” These were some reflections Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre shared during the official opening of our renewable hydrogen plant! 🎉 Yara’s renewable hydrogen plant is a major milestone in decarbonizing the food value chain, shipping fuel and other energy intensive industries. 🎯 To reach our climate goals we need to act urgently on multiple fronts and the companies who take the green transition seriously will have a competitive advantage. However, the right framework conditions need to be in place, together with investments, funding and a market where supply and demand develop in parallel. 🤝 Collaboration across entire value chains is an essential piece of the puzzle and the realization of Yara’s renewable hydrogen plant is a powerful example of this. It is heartwarming to see such a big player actually putting their money where their mouth is and doing something! NGO's will always moan, they are locked in to a critical negative spiral with nothing positive to propose, just indignant criticism of all that's gone before. Here's to the thinkers and the optimists who turn a deaf ear to the naysayers and their eyes to the future. Today is a good day.
Yara International but way you well buy a gas of CO2 from europe why you recovery inside your LNG plant, we have huge quantities of Carbon émission for your many offshor of gaz natural. second proposition you could be injected in natural gas fisrt at 20% to reduice consumption also of natural gaz send it to europe.
