As our Member Learning Exchange Scheme draws to a close, we heard from Olefile Kabelo and the Mebala Youth Studios (Botswana) team about a productive visit to YCAB Foundation in Jakarta, Indonesia to explore market accessibility and outreach assessment. “This exchange journey has reinforced the power of collaboration and cross-cultural learning.” YCAB have developed a unique chatbot solution for imparting business skills to young entrepreneurs in rural areas who otherwise wouldn’t be able to access this support. Mebala visited them to discuss how they might explore this text-based solution in areas with poorer internet access and varying local languages.
