Just watched it again on my flight right now. Here's the thing. The movie is brilliant. Amazing writing. Amazing direction. To pull this off - doing a Barbie movie "right" - is virtually bound to fail. But it didn't. It somehow (and by somehow, I mean extreme talent and passion for storytelling) achieved what was virtually impossible with the subject matter of a toy doll. It created an instant classic. This film should absolutely be in prime consideration for "Best Picture." I laughed hysterically throughout my flight (much to the dismay of my wife sitting next to me ... until she knew why ... then she started watching it again too).

Incredible movie before I walked in the movie theater I already had the notion of not liking the film because of the subject matter about toy dolls. I immediately threw away my bias and loved every scene and bought the soundtrack the next day. Barbie is a classic and it’s so parallel with how women are treated in society from the Ken point of view. Barbie killed every stereotype of how women should be from the male point of view again from my perspective. Well done. I am sure this great film will be part of some universities curriculum. Great inspiring movie and to have this film go against Oppenheimer on opening weekend and come out #1. Brilliant!

Terrible movies! I think it’s about time AI replaced human film makers. Oh and I dumped my Mattel stock. 📉👎🏻🍿🤖

An incredibly brilliant film. Super smsrt on how it touches tough issues around gender, diversity, equity, sexuality, and even ageism. Congratulations on the rebrand of an iconic brand. Barbie is suddenly fresh, relevant and current again. Even my 50 year old Barbies are excited! 🥰
